Heard of word of the day?
This is word of the post.
Bloggers post, it’s what they do. They sometimes use new and interesting words unheard of. They should. Bloggers are inspired writers; writers use words, so bloggers should use new words.
I will post a new word EVERY WEDNESDAY.
Brook is my first word of the post. Yes, my name is Brook. Yes, a brook is a small body of water.
The word brook is also a VERB. I can’t say that I’ve every used it as a verb. According to Merriam-Webster it means to not put up with something.
So, I’m going to give it a whirl. I’m going to attempt to keep it meaningful, real, and personal to me. Here we go:
I will not brook lack of joy.
I will not brook lack of peace.
I will not brook lack of love.
I will not brook busyness.
Yes, I’m Brook. I’de even created with a purpose.I will not brook stifling that purpose.
Proverbs 18:21 “Death and life are in the power of the tongue (words), and those who love it will eat its fruits.
