Brook

Missionzera Blessings!

I’m Brook – a small stream of fresh water (a noun) in this far-reaching world. Check out Word of the Post: Brook …

I love seeking God and abiding in His love.

Reading, Writing, Teaching, Singing, and Speaking at youth and women’s conferences preceded becoming a “zeramomma” of two precious littles that I’m Homeschooling.

(I share my perspective on homeschooling here: Heartschool… School for the Heart? )

Celebrating God’s goodness in life is essential for my surviving and thriving.

I’m totally a “people person.”

I love chocolate.

Everyone in my family loves chocolate.

I’m married to an intelligent, funny, tech-guy.

We love our precious kiddies (by nicknames) Zee (our son), and Zu (our daughter).

Creativity and Projects are always happening with us – always.

My random thoughts include how gentle confrontation, common courtesy, and good character are becoming lost arts.

My passion in life is to live for Jesus Christ. I desire to love Him, know Him, and make Him known.

I’ve been a Christian for many years, encountered many (wonderful and difficult) “churchy” and ministry experiences.

We have a church culture in crisis. We have a world in crisis.

There are tons of hurting and confused people.

Friends, we can do our small part in planting good seeds in this life to bring God glory.

I write about topics related to my Faith and share thoughts and studies on Christian Living and Ministry. I’ll sometimes write a Devotional. I often will share perspectives tackling “the tough stuff” in Faith. I’m not afraid to address the hard and messy.

As a wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend – I write about growing with Christ in and through relationships with others. God chooses to teach and mold us through every life experience and every relationship. I write about Life.

Culture fascinates me and I marvel and how quickly it changes. I write about topics related to it, and typically include a Biblical worldview. I write about our Culture, and our present Christian Culture.

* My life took a turn when I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis (Crohn’s Colitis). It has been a difficult journey, but God has molded me immensely through it. It’s only fair that I take some time and keep things real by sharing a bit of my Health journey (which you can find under the Life tab).
